Brittany and Ryan hosted their large luxury summer wedding at Owls Nest Resort, with a perfect overlook of the New Hampshire White Mountains. They ended up with the perfect sunny day, with only a few clouds in sight. This Thornton New Hampshire wedding venue has so much to offer between their golf course, multiple options for venues within their resort, a restaurant on site and they even offer in- house catering!
This specific wedding was held at the lakehouse, which feels so appropriate for their summer wedding. It’s the perfect space for the guests to experience the sunset, overlook the lake, and take in the new Hampshire scenery that this venue has to offer. Brittany and Ryan were able to stay overnight in one of the cottages they offer for rent. The getting ready spaces in all of their cottages offer amazing light for getting ready, which is a photography dream!
Both the first look and ceremony were held on the deck overlooking the lake. Out of the different options for venues at Owl’s Nest, the lakehouse is a great option because of the capacity that it holds. It holds up to 200 guests.
I love to photograph in a more photojournalistic documentary approach, mixed with some fun posing throughout! This wedding at Owls nest Resort was no different! I was able to remain as a fly on the wall in most moments, while capturing the moments that were most important to Brittany and Ryan.
Their crowd was so supportive of their love and you could tell how much their friends and family loved them. The entire crowd was roaring as they entered the reception with their grand entrance. They were also so engaged in all of the speeches and toasts, which is so great to see as a wedding photographer. All you can dream of is that they get their perfect day that they always dreamed of, and I can say with confidence that I feel Brittany and Ryan achieved that.
