Just make sure to submit your permit at least 3 weeks before hand! The application fee is $100 and goes towards your permit! As soon as you know your elopement date, You will want to apply for your permit as soon as you can, just in case!
What to Wear to Zion
Remember, you are surrounded by red rocks here, so you WILL get dirty! If you’re wanting your dress to stay absolutely clean, you may want to just put it on once you get to your location + not hike in it. Depending on the time of year, you would most likely be okay with shorts/ leggings + a sweatshirt! The mornings and evenings get cool, so just don’t forget those extra layers! Regarding Elopement attire, you’ll want something that’s moveable and breathable!

How to announce you eloped to your family
You can send an elopement announcement in the mail that you sealed your marriage in Zion with a picture from the day
you can surprise them on the day of + facetime them (arrange a group facetime)
You can let them know ahead of time that you plan to elope in Zion. Allow them to be apart of the day by writing you letters of things they hope for you in your marriage. Sit down and open them together on your big day!
