The Most Beautiful Tropical Destination Wedding Spot- Costa Rica

If you’re looking for a tropical spot to have your destination wedding, look no further than Costa Rica.
I’m absolutely positive that this country has something for everybody.

This wedding was located at the W hotel in Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. From the breathtaking blue waters, to the activities on the beach + ability to be a relaxing honeymoon spot, this hotel has it all.

When a couple is planning their wedding at W hotel, they will be paired with a planner + get to choose what type of music they want, how long of a ceremony, their ceremony spot + even how they want their reception decorated.

Common Fears of planning a Destination Wedding

When planning a destination wedding, one big fear is that many feel like they can’t customize much about their day, but I feel as though you’ll have a great experience working with this hotel. My couple, Sarah and Pablo had an amazing experience working with this hotel’s planning staff and customizing all the details of their day. Throughout the process, they were available to help plan and make sure the couple had everything they needed as they approached their wedding day.

What to consider when choosing a wedding destination

There are other amazing tropical wedding destinations that i’m sure you’ve already considered like Aruba, Tulum, Cancun Mexico, The Cayman Islands, the big island of hawaii and much more. Though, i’m going to tell you why Costa Rica is the perfect spot for your destination wedding. As opposed to just tropical scenery, palm trees and beaches, Costa Rica offers much more. The Scenery in Costa Rica is extremely diverse and offers beach, volcanoes, mangroves, jungle and rainforests!

The best time to have your wedding in Costa Rica

Due to it being dry season, December through April are the best months to have your wedding in Costa Rica. Otherwise, you risk having your wedding mixed with rain (which isn’t necessarily bad) but most people don’t want this experience on their wedding day. Please note, this is a high time of year to visit Costa Rica (but that’s why it’s popular for weddings). Most likely you’ll have everything you need on site for weddings, but this is just something to note if you want to surround your wedding with activities. You may just need to book in advanced prior to arriving in Costa Rica.

When it’s not possible to get married in the winter, the next best time to get married in costa rica is June through August. You have a higher likely chance of rain during these months, but lower hotel rates. The only time you want to completely avoid having a wedding in Costa Rica is September and October. It rains like cats and dogs during these months and you would likely have rain on your day.
